Erik recently joined the Gidel & Kocal team in 2024 as a seasoned Senior Project Manager. Although new to the team, Erik is a 2nd generation general contractor with a total of 36 years of construction experience. He started in the sheet metal union in 1988 until 1991, moved to being a Carpenter from 1991 to 1996, and has grown in his career as a Commercial Superintendent and now Project Manager from 1996 to present day. His years of experience encompass vast knowledge in the commercial construction and industrial industry.
During his free time, Erik coaches, referees, and (sometimes) plays rugby. He enjoys to snow Ski, wake surf, off-road desert race, and ride his motorcycles both dirt and street. As he settles into his new role, he looks to be the best teammate possible and learn from all of the years of experience that Gidel & Kocal has.
