Jeff joined the Gidel & Kocal team in 2008 as a carpenter and worked his way from the ground-up to Project Engineer in 2012, then soon becoming a Site Superintendent in 2013. As superintendent, Jeff oversees all subcontractors and day-to-day functions in the field meanwhile being the on-site liaison to the client and Project Manager. Newly promoted to Associate Project Manager, Jeff has the ability to move through the ranks which has given him countless tools that enable him to grow his skillset and effectively manage his jobsites.
Jeff supervises total field construction efforts to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with budget, design and the schedule. His experience in countless tenant and building improvements, market ready projects, life sciences sectors and multi-million-dollar projects have shown consistent and efficient productivity to completion as an area of his expertise. On the jobsite, he ensures employees are adhering to Gidel & Kocal safety standards, work rules and proper procedures as set forth by the client. Jeff is hard working, dedicated, self-reliant, calculated and doesn’t stop until the job is finished and completed properly.
Jeff is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys camping, golfing and action sports like dirt biking, snowboarding, and mountain biking. Even during his free time, Jeff is hands-on enjoying DIY projects and is a fabricator. Jeff is happiest while being with his family and their 3 dogs, 2 cats and horse. Jeff appreciates working for Gidel & Kocal for their family atmosphere, shared appreciation of customer satisfaction, and receiving the endless opportunities to gain knowledge because of the vast and diverse project scopes we engage in.
