Steve joined Gidel and Kocal Construction in 2014 with over 35 years of commercial construction experience, interest first sparked at an early age from his own father’s commercial construction company. Steve’s experience includes ground up construction and tenant improvement projects ranging from medical, life sciences, restaurant, retail, banks, offices and manufacturing facilities.
Steve’s main focus since joining the Gidel & Kocal team has been developing new client relationships with several large biotech clients and life science property developers’ along with several medical device and electronic manufacturers. He recently completed a state of the art ITAR facility and a large “office to life science” building conversion, both ahead of schedule and within budget. He is committed to the Gidel and Kocal mission of providing top notch service to our clients.
Steve attended North Harris College in Houston, Texas and currently resides in Santa Cruz, CA, enjoying being outdoors and camping with his wife and four daughters. Things Steve loves most about working with Gidel & Kocal are the teams’ collaboration and support in such a friendly, family office environment with fun functions.
